Clean House - 3 Days Only offers a profound, multi-layered commentary on our relationship with the spaces we inhabit, the objects we accumulate, and the rituals we perform to maintain order. It brings a sense of intimacy to the act of cleaning—a task that often goes unnoticed and undervalued. This piece has the potential to touch on collective themes of care, mindfulness, and the cyclical nature of creation and decay, as well as inviting a reflection on what we “clean” or hide within ourselves.
The Artful Algorithm
The Clean House Show - 3 Days Only is a delightful rebellion against the fast-paced world we live in. Through intimate, thought-provoking installations, the event elevates the humble act of cleaning to a sacred art. Visitors are invited to let go of physical and emotional baggage in spaces like Letting Go and Airing Your Dirty Laundry. The humor is palpable in installations like Swept Under the Rug, a cheeky metaphor for the things we hide, and Dust Diaries, where guests leave behind “dusty” memories. The collaborative cooking event, Recipe for Disaster, adds a unique layer of communal creativity. This immersive experience blends nostalgia with an invitation to reflect on the domestic rituals we often take for granted. It’s a chance to slow down, laugh, and, perhaps, leave a little lighter—an artful journey of cleansing, confronting, and letting go. Not to be missed!
Hosted by artist collective Friends till the End, The Clean House Show - 3 Days Only in South Newfane, VT, promises a truly singular immersive experience. Combining performance art, improvisation, and community ritual, the show invites attendees into an intimate, three-day exploration of the humble—and often hidden—art of cleaning. In a world where life only accelerates, this show dares to slow down, diving into domestic labor as a medium for reflection on memory, letting go, and the quiet beauty of home.

MY driveway parallels DOVER ROAD.
Access my driveway through the entrance to Willow, the inn next door. Take the first Willow entrance and stay left. Park in the driveway or on the lawn. If you pass the inn or the schoolhouse you have gone too far.
